FIRST PLACE – $500, KURT – COVINGTON, OH

LATITUDE SYSTEM WITH WOODEN HANDRAIL

Kurt integrated our new Latitude System into his deck design.  This system includes mechanical swage tensioners riveted to 2” outer diameter stainless steel posts to allow for cable railing infill.  The handrail was easily mounted with virtually no hardware obstruction, which allowed the customer to select their desired top rail.  The Latitude System offered Kurt a modern cable railing system with a wooden handrail that blended nicely with the exterior house style.

SECOND PLACE – $250, ERIC – CENTRE ISLAND, NY

MIXTURE OF SUNRAIL™ AND RAILEASY™ NAUTILUS CABLE RAILING SYSTEMS OVERLOOKING OYSTER BAY

This customer mixed the SunRail™ and RailEasy™ Nautilus cable railing systems to keep their view of Oyster Bay Harbor unobstructed!  Due to the wrapped 4×4 post spacing, 2” outer diameter stainless steel posts were included.  These posts are surface mounted and pre-drilled so that cables can pass through.  This customer also integrated the cable railing system into the covered portion of the deck by drilling through the supporting columns.  The handrail features a 2” outer diameter stainless steel tube that fits into a RailEasy™ Straight Sidemount.

THIRD PLACE – $100, ANTHONY – BOCA RATON, FL

SUNRAIL™ NAUTILUS SYSTEM ON OCEANFRONT PROPERTY

Anthony installed the SunRail™ Nautilus System on this oceanfront property.  The hardware that makes up this system is made from grade 316 stainless steel to offer maximum corrosion resistance and durability.  It is ideal for oceanfront applications.  Using dimensions and specifications provided by the customer, Atlantis Rail Engineers were able to design a railing system to custom fit this application.  The post bases were mounted to a sub-structure beneath the raised decking.  A stainless steel bottom rail was installed at the customer’s request.
